Store and Export Data

To collect data using a form that has been saved to the iOS device, first select the form name from the list and touch "Open".

After entering the data for a record, touch "Submit" at the bottom of the form.

Confirm submission of the record.

Touch "OK" to acknowledge record submission.

There are two buttons on the left side of the orange banner. Touch the one with three lines to select an existing record.

This displays a scrollable list of existing records. Select and touch one for viewing and editing.

Now different buttons are shown at the bottom of the form. Touch "Delete" to delete the record from the database. Touch "Update" to save any changes made.

Either selection will require confirmation.

And acknowledgement. If the form has an associated cloud data table and the device has internet connectivity, then the cloud table will be updated. The local data table will be updated regardless.

Touch the "up arrow" button to send records stored on the iPhone or iPad to a central location.

If the form has an associated cloud table, you will have the option of uploading to the cloud. If the device has internet connectivity, then you will have the option of creating and emailing an encrypted data file. Creating an encrypted data file for export to iTunes is always an option.

Specify a password for the encrypted data file to be created. This password will be used when importing the dataset to a PC.

The dataset may be emailed to an address that can be read from a PC running desktop Epi Info, and then Epi Info can be used to import the data by clicking File-->Import data-->From mobile device... in the Epi Info 7 Enter module.

When I package the data stored on the iPad, select a password, and email it to my desktop I am not being able to import the data package into Epi Info. I am getting an error message that says, FAILURE to decrypt data. I have tried all kinds of passwords, but none seem to work. Any suggestions???
